ABOUT Maddie

Maddie Christensen is an enthusiastic entertainment design generalist, and animation production specialist. Previously, she received her education at the University of Wisconsin-Stout majoring in Entertainment Design with a concentration in Animation and a focus in 3D. She enjoys telling stories that challenge the empathy and viewpoints an audience has. They find it to be redeeming when she succeeds in changing a person’s viewpoint on how they see the world.

 

By focusing on the morals they wants to covey, Maddie finds a parallel in either a fantasy or sci-fi element and uses it to push her viewers to think deeper and see all angles of a situation. For example, when covering trauma, she portrays the abuser as a monster for a large portion of the narrative. Then, by revealing him as only a man, the audience actually feels he is more monstrous then when he had the body of a beast.

 

Currently, Maddie manages her time as both a Producer at ABTS (Aroura Bell Tower Studios) and freelancing in both video and illustrative work.
